Family Law

Our Family Law solicitors are trained to be able to advise you on your options in the event that a marriage or relationship breaks down. We can help with:

  • Divorce, separation, and cohabitation
  • Civil partnership
  • Children, residence and contact
  • Financial settlements and arrangements

Whatever the problem, we’re here to listen, to help, and most importantly look after your interests.

Divorce, separation, and cohabitation

If a marriage is no longer working, we can help with arranging a formal separation or a divorce. Where people have cohabited, there can also be tricky legal issues in the event of a breakup. Please do speak to us, in complete confidence, and we can advise on your next step.

Civil partnership

Civil partnerships have slightly different legal rules from marriages, and we can advise on how these affect you. If a civil partnership is ending and needs to be dissolved, our team can help you decide on the best way to achieve this.

Children, residence and contact

When relationships change, for many people the most important thing is contact with their children. When this situation goes wrong, it causes more pain and anguish than any other. Our team understand this, and will work sympathetically on your behalf.

Financial settlements and arrangements

The pain of a relationship breaking up can sometimes lead to financial pain as well. We can give advice and represent you on maintenance payments, pension rights, division of assets, and a range of other financial arrangements.
